Ps4 media player cannot download

I'm a first time user for the Media Server app (usually dual screen with my Roku, but since it's in the living room I wanted to try out the Media Player app) and it's not working. I had to download it, and it had an update. Fine. Things need to update. But now that it's up to date it's not working. I've deleted and redownloaded. I've switched.
